Eight Restaurant, Spier Wine Estate
Eight Restaurant at the renowned Spier Wine Estate is serving up some of the best farm-to- table dining in the Cape Peninsula. All ingredients and produce are either grown organically on the farm, or sourced from nearby farms with the same principles. For this reason, the menu changes along with the seasons. However, at any time of year, you can expect nourishing, delicious and healthy food on the table.
Only the freshest greens are selected from Farmer John’s food garden, where they are grown without chemicals or pesticides. Tender fillet, juicy sirloin and spicy sausages come from grass-fed cattle, and both chickens and cattle are raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Even the décor at Eight restaurant embodies this organic ethos, with recycled materials making a regular appearance in the chic dining space.
Eight is a family-friendly restaurant with rolling lawns and a wooden jungle gym to keep busybodies at bay. Though open predominantly for lunches (Tuesday to Sunday, 12h00 – 16h00),Eight Restaurant is also available for breakfast and dinner for private group bookings or functions.
